We have been witnessing some spectacular sights in the skies lately.
I have always loved the magic of the Northern lights ~ a connector between us here and something somewhere else.
The vibrant hues dancing across the sky are something special to witness…to be apart of.
Last night I experienced something pretty spectacular- a phoenix in the sky.
This mystical bird, rising from its own ashes, represents rebirth, immortality, transformation and the triumph over adversity.
It represents and tells a story of growth.
Last night laying in a stubble field, gazing upwards in awe of the sights in front of me I became emotional.
Unfortunately, too many times in our lives, we forget just how far we have come and what we have gone through. Then something or someone crosses our path and reminds us - we either notice or carry on.
Last night I sat and reminisced over some feels.
The struggles, the hurt, loss, confusion, hollowness, destruction, exhaustion, and the small wins, triumphs, appreciation, growth, peace and pride.
I don’t think it was a coincidence having the sky filled with a Phoenix over that farmer’s field.
October/fall is full of many, many reminders of my own personal journey.
Last night spotting the Phoenix in the sky it gave me the opportunity to reflect and choose my perspective moving forward.
This weekend is Thanksgiving and no matter where you may find yourself on your journey I’m here to remind you to keep going…the burning, the destruction, the struggle, it’s a very important part of the becoming.
And if you find yourself in the space of recognizing the growth, amongst the peace and pride ~ be thankful and give a little grace.
Appreciate the beauty of the process.
And keep looking up to the sky!
